Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PrimeRide ("we", "us") collects through our website and mobile apps, why we collect it, and how you can control it. PrimeRide provides motorcycle rentals in Male'/Hulhumale', Maldives.

Information we collect

• Your name and mobile number, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Your National ID or passport number, used to verify your identity and comply with rental regulations.
• Photos of your driving licence and National ID/passport, required to rent a motorcycle.
• An emergency contact phone number, if you choose to provide one.
• Your delivery address and, if you allow it, your device's precise location, used to bring the motorcycle to you.
• Booking details: dates, motorcycle chosen, price, and payment status.
• A push notification token for your device, used to notify you about your booking status.

We don't ask for your email address, and we don't collect payment card details — payment is made by cash on delivery or bank transfer, and only the payment status is recorded.

How we use it

We use this information only to run the rental service: creating your account, verifying your identity, delivering and returning motorcycles, processing bookings, sending you SMS and push notifications about your booking, and providing customer support. We do not use your data for advertising, do not build advertising profiles, and do not sell or share it with data brokers.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that let us run the app, each acting on our instructions:

• Supabase, which hosts our database.
• Message Owl, which delivers our SMS verification codes and notifications.
• Expo/Apple/Google, which deliver push notifications to your device.
• Google Maps, used to help you set your delivery address.

We don't share your personal data with any other third party, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as needed for our business and legal records. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data, including your uploaded documents, at any time — see Support for how to reach us.

Children's privacy

Renting a motorcycle requires a valid driving licence, so our service isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
